Ellington 36″ contemporary vertical piano.

Though this piano has the standard 88 keys it is slightly smaller than an average spinet.  This may make a difference in some situations where the piano is placed in a room with limitations and even a few inches matter.  As a result, the Ellington spinet piano by Baldwin is popular among people living in smaller living spaces desiring an “Apartment piano”.  The Baldwin factory designed and built this model for sale in their exclusive dealer network. Mr. Ellington was a personal friend of the companies founder, Dwight Hamilton Baldwin.

Ellington pianos – an historic past!

This piano was built in 1982 and plays well, is a clean used piano and in good regulation.  It holds tune well because all of the tuning pins are tight.  The structural integrity of the bridges, soundboard ribs and back are uncompromised.  The hammer and damper felts only have mild wear.  The piano is in a dark distressed pecan lacquer finish, sometimes called fruitwood.. The original padded bench is included.  88 Keys Piano Warehouse & Showroom price – $1150.
